The Shield Suit is an enchanted bodyglove worn by Shadow employees in the field.

Appearance

The Shield Suit is a black fitting bodyglove with runes branded on the inside of the chest and back areas, and has different designs for male and female wearers. When rune protection is in effect, the runes will give off a purplish glow.

Background

The Shield Suit is made from a durable yet flexible material developed by Johnson and Esna. Once the suit is moulded into shape, it will be brought to Sin Yunseong who will perform an enchantment on it to brand on the protective runes.

Abilities

The Shield Suit by itself is bulletproof, and once rune protection is activated it can even shield the whole body of the wearer from powerful explosions and Charyeok attacks. The rune protection however is not indefinite, and will break if it takes too much damage. Also no more than one Shield Suit can be worn, since multiple enchanted artifacts put into close proximity can cause detrimental conflicts.

As a contingency against wearers who go rogue, destructive spells can also be enchanted into the Shield Suit. These spells are activated by a magic word spoken by the enchanter, with painful and devastating effects on the wearer.
