Sakura Yui was a contracted assistant of Yamato.
Appearance[]
Sakura Yui was an attractive woman with a tall nose and sexy body. She has her long hair dyed as pink as her eyes, and is generally dressed in a white t-shirt and black tights along with a black idol hat.
When transformed, her eyes and jaws become those of a spider, while her lower body swells into that of a titanic spider the size of a convention hall.
Personality[]
Because of all the abuse and exploitation she had been through, Yui generally reads novels and listens to music in order to shut herself up in her own fantasy world filled with heroes and magic and towers and monsters. She cares little about other people especially men, and will not refrain from deeds aligning with her own goals even if she is aware that they are evil. For a long period, Yui frequently vented her frustration with violence upon Hiro, and had been wishing for death despite knowing its futility until Hiro declared his love for her.
History[]
As far back as when she was 10 years old, Yui was used as a sex slave by her father and his friends, prompting her to wish for a hero knight like the ones seen in manga to come rescue her. Her powers thus manifested this wish in the form of Hiro on one snowy night, and in order to look after him she dropped out of school where she was teased by other kids for being ugly. For the next few years, Yui endured intensified torment while delving more and more into the fantasy world of manga and novels, in which hero knights battle giant monsters under towers to rescue princesses.
Yui’s Charyeok awoken by the time she turned 14, so as payback she used it to turn her father and his friends into famished ‘dogs’ tethered naked in the yard. However, the curse that came with this Charyeok prompted her to commit suicide, though none of the attempts ended up successful. Getting wind of this, Yamato led an escort of Nine Dragons to her home asking her to be his experiment subject in return for a fortune. Yui initially rejected the offer by commanding her ‘dogs’ to tear apart Yamato’s escort, leaving alive only him and Hajime Ryo who had forced her to rein them in, but following the addition of removing her Charyeok as a term, she agreed to seal the contract and become his experiment subject as well as associate assistant.
After modifying her face into a more attractive one through pegs and pillows, Yui became a pornography actress so that she would get all the semen she needed to keep her Charyeok suppressed. And one time she used the money earned from her work to gift Hiro with a motorbike, though the shame of how low she had fallen also prompted her to start brutalising him.
On the day when Yamato was to experiment on the limits of her Charyeok at the Japan branch of Nox in Kyoto, the visiting Abel appeared before Yui to explain her true nature as a Prayer Awakener who generated Hiro into existence. Later as the experiment proceeded, she lost control of her Charyeok and transformed into a titanic spider, which in the rampage that ensued destroyed the branch and killed the hundreds of Nox followers stationed there until Abel stepped in to stop her. With Hiro refusing to put her out of misery as she had instructed, Yui continued to work for Yamato following his exile from Nox, allowing him to come up with mind control devices that work on attributes similar to her Charyeok.

Heroes of Street[]
Yui followed Yamato to South Korea alongside Ryo, V and an army of Marionettes after Sang Mandeok ordered the exiled Priest to eliminate the threat of Shadow, with her first task being mind controlling the prime minister to become their hostage. When Sin Yunseong arrived alone at the prime minister’s mansion, she proceeded to entice him into spilling out everything about Shadow, and following a conversation he was allowed to conduct with Yamato at the mad scientist’s behest, forced Yunseong into carrying a time bomb with him back to the secret Shadow headquarters.
When a horde of Marionettes and a missile strike failed to stop Gang Daehyeop and Sin Taepung during the attack on the Shadow headquarters, Yui was commaned by Yamato to mind control the two Field Agents so they would fight each other, ending with Daehyeop defeated and Taepung collapsing soon after. Yet the mob was soon attacked by Yun Taesu who had came to the pair’s rescue under Violet Ella Wong Perez’s petition, and Yui for the first time found herself unable to mind control a man because of the serial murderer’s lunatic love with Jegal Taek.
Later she took Hiro to the headquarters of J.G. Group, where upon Taek’s return she made his bodyguards kill themselves, causing Taesu to also reveal himself. In the ensuing fight during which she shrugged off Taek and Taesu’s attacks, Yui realised that despite their immunity to her mind control, neither of them were the ‘prince’ who could kill the ‘spider’ that was her curse, so she mind controlled the thousand males in the vicinity to attack them.
As Yamato proceeded with his plan to release the tens of millions of Dream Skulls worldwide, Yui helped mind control the male staff of the warehouse at which they were stored in order to counter the intruding Alphonse and his subordinates. And on the eve of ‘D-Day’, Yui received the 5 million dollar payment for her services from Yamato with which she plans to leave for someplace where she can live peacefully. But after brutalising Hiro following Yamato’s departure, she in a fit of rage over all her experiences stomped flat the semen capsules needed for suppressing her Charyeok from losing control.
While resting with Hiro in a room at BEXCO on ‘D-Day’, Yui sensed Daehyeop’s presence nearby and tried to mind control him, only to have somebody else’s Charyeok cancel hers out. Trying to ignore Yamato when he later burst in hollering about Shadow disrupting his plans, Yui was forced to help him escape after he offered to reveal the way for removing her curse. As they descended down to the lobby, they ran into Yunseong as well as Lee Sujin who subsequently left, so instructing Hiro to escort Yamato and Justin to their hotel, Yui stayed behind with the warehouse staff turned into Marionettes to hold back Yunseong. With her mind control ability useless because Daehyeop had a Berserker Program running in his Oracle and Yunseong had casted onto himself a Geas command to kill her, Yui had to rely on her Charyeok’s regenerative abilities to survive Yunseong’s attacks, but at the same time also expediated her withdrawal symptoms. By the time all the Marionettes were killed off, she was already in the throes of losing control of her Charyeok, so when Ban Sihyeon and Seo Yuri arrived on scene, she again transformed into a titanic spider in addition to releaseing a black smoke that plunged the skies above BEXCO into darkness. Subsequently trapped in Sihyeon’s Dungeon where she got barraged by Yunseong’s spells and beset by an army of monsters, Yui rampaged while her black aura shielded her from harm. She turned even more frenzied after Sihyeon trapped her as well as Yunseong and the meteor he summoned into an alternate dimension in which she was the ugliest existence, though before the meteor she tried to hold back crushed her, Hiro broke into the dimension to put an end to her berserk state.
Reverted back to human form under the seaside cliff they washed up upon, Yui found her heart freed from all the anguish of the past decade when Hiro declared his love to her. They later let Taesu who spectated this scene trail them to the motel Yamato was sent to after his banishment from Nox, where Yui recovered the money and heard that the Key may be the key to removing her curse. Following Yamato’s death at the hands of Taesu, Yui paid the cool murderer half her fortune so that he will tell Daehyeop about Ryo being the true mastermind behind the Dream Skull conspiracy.
Travelling back to Nine Dragons Hall in an attempt to find clues about the Key in Yamato’s laboratory, Yui and Hiro found out that Ryo had become the new boss of Nine Dragons after his coup against Ogawa Shinji. They were then shown the laboratory in which the Yggdrasil gifted to Ryo by Abel had taken root, before witnessing Ryo utilise it in tandem with the Ouroboros to drain the Charyeok energies of hundreds of Charyeok Users donning an alternate version of Dream Skulls into himself. Horrified at his madness, Yui ordered Hiro to kill Ryo, only to have the boss easily smash Hiro down and incapacitate her before she could mind control him. Begging for mercy without avail, Yui was tied to the Yggdrasil where she could do nothing as her Charyeok energy was slowly drained, though she managed to tell Han Yewon who had escaped into the laboratory that stopping the Ouroboros will free them. Subsequent to the defeat of Ryo and the wilting of the Yggdrasil, Yui took Hiro into hiding.
The Key[]
Abilities[]
Sakura Yui is not at all made for personal confrontations, since her physical abilities are on par with an average young woman, and relies instead on having other men do the fighting for her.
In addition, despite having lived her whole life in Japan, Sakura Yui is also fluent in Korean.
Charyeok[]
Succubus is the Charyeok of Sakura Yui that also her doubles as her curse. It manifests the desires of men but at the same time encompasses her abhorrence at them, so she is forced to regularly consume semen in order to suppress the Charyeok, or else lose her sanity and let its basic instincts take over her.
- Mind Control: Releasing waves of Charyeok that affect the frontal lobe of the brain where the feeling of love is processed, Sakura Yui makes men of all ages descend into a dream-like state, in which they think of themselves as living a role-playing game in a fantasy world, and move their physical bodies to fulfill commands she makes without any consideration of self-preservation.
This ability however has no effect on women, nor on men without any sense of love or possessing a sense of love too infatuated to be seduced, and the same goes with men whose minds are possessed by single-minded violence.- Queen of the Night: Presents Sakura Yui as a beautiful queen, so that men with a strong will yet not totally immune to the effects of mind control will find themselves desiring her to the point of succumbing to all of her demands.
- Regeneration: Releases a black smoke whenever Sakura Yui gets wounded so that her body quickly regenerates.
- Presence Tracking: Sakura Yui can detect the presence of certain individuals she is familiar with, and thus is able to track down their location from far away.
- Spider: Once Sakura Yui loses control of the Charyeok, it will consume her in both mind and body, before transforming her into a titanic spider the size of a convention hall. Barely aware of how monstrous and revolting she is, Sakura Yui will lash out at the world of men that had caused her so much suffering in a rampage of untold destruction, all the while releasing a pitch black aura capable of blackening the sky around her that will shield her from harm.
Prayer Awakening[]
Sakura Yui is one of the rare Prayer Awakeners, and since her greatest wish is for a heroic knight commonly seen in fantasy stories to come rescue her from the torturous life she is living, her imagination manifested itself in the form of the ghost that is Hiro. Given enough innovation, she can subconciously grant him magical abilities as well as keep him alive, so long her mental energies that are also required for Charyeok are abundant enough.
This power is also speculated to be behind the change in Sakura Yui’s facial features.

- Her name may have been inspired by Heero Yuy, the protagonist of the Japanese animation Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
