Park Jinoh is the General Operations Manager of Shadow.

Appearance[]

Park Jinoh looks like the typical salaryman, with his hair combed neatly, wearing black rimmed glasses and dressed in a lean black business suit.

Personality[]

Jinoh is very loyal to his executive Sin Yunseong, putting a lot of concern on his wellbeing. He is also known to take on a serious approach with managing Shadow’s operations, monitoring closely the actions of employees for any deviations.

History[]

Formerly an employee of Sixsung, Jinoh was charmed by Yunseong’s charisma, and agreed to follow him when he left Sixsung to head Shadow. He was heavily involved in the construction of Shadow’s secret headquarters beneath the Han River, and was fully in charge of building the capsule train system linking it to the hidden entrances.

Heroes of Street[]

During the operation against Yun Taesu, Jinoh aided Yunseong’s efforts from behind the scenes while keeping in touch with South Korean government in order to demonstrate the usefulness of Shadow. Following Shadow’s recognition by the government, Jinoh coordinated the human resource allocation, equipment production, and operation execution on top of many other company tasks.

After discovering Gang Daehyeop’s hotel stay with the Nox spy Violet Ella Wong Perez, Jinoh notified Yunseong and summoned Daehyeop for questioning, though he got a shock when Yunseong offered to let Violet rejoin Shadow. When Nine Dragons subsequently launched an all out attack on the Shadow headquarters, Jinoh took command of the company in the absence of Yunseong, and directed the evacuation of employees through an escape route hidden in the capsule train tunnel.

Temporarily sitting in as the CEO, Jinoh later pulled Shadow that had lost its headquarters and half its staff together to come up with ideas for stopping Yamato’s conspiracy of turning tens of millions of people worldwide into Marionettes through Dream Skulls. He set up a temporary headquarters in the cargo train housing Shadow’s backup servers, then assigned Han Yewon and Yu Chiyeoung to respectively track down Yamato and gather intelligence on Nine Dragons, before liasoning with the government to mobilise Baek Yeonwoo’s police and other special forces. Following the rediscovery of Yunseong by Daehyeop on ‘D-Day’, Jinoh continued to direct the operation when the battleground moved to Busan. He afterwards summoned the broadcast helicopter that scattered around the money Daehyeop had robbed from a bank in order to stop the Dream Skulls’ release, and also used a satellite to fire an electro-magnetic pulse that burned out the helicopter Yamato planned to escape in as well as the remote control for the nuclear bomb Hiroshima’s Revenge.

Jinoh later tried to hide from the other Shadow members the traumatised mental state Yunseong had descended into, but then got arrested for treason when the South Korean government began seeing Shadow as a threat. Put through a series of torturous interrogations by National Intelligence agents, Jinoh was eventually released and taken to Yunseong’s home because the Japanese prime minister appealed for Shadow’s assistance in dealing with Hajime Ryo.
