Ogawa Shinji was an old man who was dressed in a kimono.
Personality[]
While his rank made him prideful, Shinji had been cautious and conservative with how his organisation expanded so as to not attract too much reprisal from other forces. He also had the guts to take his own life in a painful fashion.
History[]
Raised in Nagoya as the second son of the prior boss of Yamaguchi-gumi, Shinji’s faction and the other members who originated from the Kansai area came into discord. After many subsidiaries belonging in the Kansai faction seceded, Shinji led his subsidiary organisation Nine Dragons into independence while still maintaining a good relationship with Yamaguchi-gumi. At some point he agreed to let Yamato invest in his organisation while providing the muscle and laboratory space that he needed.
Shinji was caught unawares when it turned out that Yamato’s aide Hajime Ryo had swayed many members of Nine Dragons to his faction, and in the ensuing coup Shinji’s family and many subordinates loyal to him were killed.

Shinji was brought to Ishigaki Island by Hazuki to greet Ryo’s return to Japan, and after the invoking of his relationship with Yamaguchi-gumi failed to scare Ryo, he was forced to commit seppuku.
