Lee Jung-Min was the mother of Lee Soo-Jin and the daughter of Lee Soo-Hyuk. She spent her whole life in the mine that Soo-Jin was born in.

She was a relatively tall woman with short, thistle-colored hair.
Personality[]
She cared greatly for Soo-Jin but was also the one who instilled all of the hatred for South Korea into Soo-Jin's mind. She despised South Korea; blaming the country for putting her in the coal mines her whole life.
History[]
She was born in a coal mine to Lee Soo-Hyuk's wife.
She gave birth to Lee Soo-Jin and supported her as a single mother. One day when Soo-Jin was five, she snuck into the mineshaft to give her mom some food. Suddenly, the shaft collapsed, leaving them trapped. Her mother refused to eat anything so that Soo-Jin could eat and survive until rescue came. When the mine collapsed even further, she succumbed to the illness that had been plaguing her after helping Soo-Jin claw herself away.
