Having served in the South Korean Marines, Kim Dalsu was employed as a garrison guard of a security company situated near the south end of the Mapo Bridge. Aware that the building he worked at must be something unusually important since the security detail garrisoning it was abnormally high, he always wondered if he made the right employment choice.

Initially mistaking the gunfire that woke him up when he was napping at his company one night to be firecrackers, Dalsu barely had time to regret his choice of employment before Vincent who was seeking the entrance to the Shadow headquarters underneath the building put him to sleep for eternity.
