Generation X (X세대,X世代) is a group of people who were born post-RagnarÖk and possess their own abilities and powers without having to borrow power from the gods.
Background[]
Generation X are people who lack Taboo in their DNA that started to appear after Judge R sacrificed himself to destroy Taboo during RagnarÖk. All the members of Generation X possess their own abilities and powers without having to borrow the power of the gods, the main ability that all of them possess is power transfer. Park Ilpyo states that everyone who overcomes Syndrome X will become a member of Generation X.
Park Mujin states that Generation X is the next evolutionary stage of humanity and that they are all prophets. Although Tathagata does not believe that they are, we see that when he says that although generation x are also descendants of Gaia and have similarities to the prophets, they are not.
During the final battle between Dan Mori and Park Mubong, all of the Charyeok were lost except for Jin Mori's Nirvana and Park Taejin's Miracle. Because of this, the only abilities left to generation x are intelligence and physique superior to the average human. In addition to the accelerated development, this is seen when Heal notices that Generation X grows at a faster rate than humans.
X syndrome[]
It is a disease that appeared after Judge R broke the taboo. Its effects are:
High fever
Vomiting
Paralysis
Blood cancer
Plot[]
Park Mubong revived the G.O.H tournament not only to hunt down Jin Mori, but also to find people who would be considered Generation X. It is later stated by Park Ilpyo that everyone who suffers from X syndrome and overcomes it will become part of Generation X, as shown during Dean Ockham's childhood. Mubong's plan is to place Generation X at the top of the pyramid of humans, gods and monsters.
Dean was the first Generation X member to appear in the webtoon with his ability to see the future and imitate martial arts. After the time-skip, Mubong sent a team of Generation X members to exterminate a former member of The Six, Kim Dusik. The team consisted of 8 members with Dean Ockham being the leader.
