Summary[]
As Sin Yunseong watches news reports containing much wild speculations about what happened at BEXCO, a dejected Jeon Jaesan walks into the ward muttering about asking Na Bongchim to save Jeon Jugok who is in a vegetative state after his humiliating defeat at the hands of Jegal Taek during the G.O.H. Tournament. Sin Yunseong however chides Jeon Jaesan for his patheticness, going on to criticise the decision to let the immature Jeon Jugok who cannot gauge his own limits enter the tournament, before calling out Jeon Jaesan’s methods of raising Jeon Jugok into the heir of Sixsung as putting too much pressure on the boy which will get him killed one day. Barely containing his rage, Jeon Jaesan comments about Sin Yunseong having changed while throwing him a photo, then informs him on the way out that the media had portrayed the key Shadow employees’ faces as linked to the deaths of countless civilians. Watching the news report about the casualties including those that he had personally created, Sin Yunseong looks at the photo of him clasping an infant Jeon Jugok and weeps.
As Gang Daehyeop approaches the hospital where Sin Yunseong and Sin Taepung were sent to, the accompanying Violet Ella Wong Perez points out that there is a group of men in front of it gathered around Jeon Jaesan. Then Han Yewon and Yu Chiyeoung who had managed to sneak out of the headquarters with their faces covered pull them into a nearby coffee shop after just arriving by subway, telling them that those arguing with Jeon Jaesan are government agents coming for Sin Yunseong. Gang Daehyeop is shocked when told about Park Jinoh and Baek Yeonwoo being arrested for treason, at which Violet states is a sign that the government has decided to shut down Shadow for growing too dangerous.
While the agents attempt to pressure Jeon Jaesan into handing over Sin Yunseong and other Shadow employees in the hospital, Jeon Jaesan rebukes them by calling the government out over how it cannot tolerate an organisation they only wanted to take on petty criminals now being able to take out strong foes. Giving off the violent aura of a member of The Six, Jeon Jaesan manages to scare away the agents.
When the four Shadow employees debate the question of whose place should they use as a safehouse to hide out in, Gang Daehyeop notices that they have been discovered by a pair of patrolling police. After he stops one of them from radioing their location while refraining from violence due to Han Yewon’s advice, Yun Taesu arrives on scene subsequent to beating up the other one. Summoning a megalodon tooth without any motion to shock the police grabbed by Gang Daehyeop into fainting, he donates bundles of won to his friends who are now also fugitives like him, before passing on Sakura Yui’s message and naming a Hamada as the mastermind.
The Shadow team ends up settling for Eric Sin’s home office to be their safehouse where they take a rest, and as Yu Chiyeoung sneers at the news reports that say what happened at BEXCO was terrorism commited by rival game companies to target the Dream Skulls, Han Yewon comments about it making the Dream Skulls even more famous. Violet tries to calm them citing that they had stopped the spread of Dreams Skulls in South Korea, before telling the team according to the thoughts read from Yamato, the mastermind who had usurped the Ouroboros is actually Hajime Ryo. She then ponders about Yamato being the only one who can convert Energy Stones into batteries for Marionette Masks, and wonders what Hajime Ryo plans to do now that emitting the Charyeok signals from satellites can only generate an army of Marionettes that functions for a short time period.
When an impressed Yu Chiyeoung tries to break up an emerging argument between Violet and a Han Yewon untrusting of her mind-reading abilities, Sin Taepung who had escaped from the hospital shows up to say that they have to go to Japan to stop innocent civilians from being caught in the crossfire, yet Gang Daehyeop refuses because he doesn’t like Japs. Meanwhile in the New Project City of Nagoya, Sakura Yui and Hiro disembark their motorcycle in front of the Nine Dragons Hall.
