Summary[]

On the day Nine Dragons releases its new Dream Skull, a long line is seen outside COEX where Yamato is scheduled to hold a promotional event, and excited discussions about Sakura Yui being the marketing model abound. Gang Daehyeop observes them from above in case Yamato shows up, yet he begins to feel they had made a mistake.

Baek Yeonwoo while leading a contingent of the Charyeok Response Special Taskforce who is cooperating with other security forcers to monitor the people in the vicinity, expresses to Park Jinoh his concerns that their actions here will not stop the sale of Dream Skulls in other countries, to which Park Jinoh explains they may be able to get a ‘kill switch’ from Yamato at best, and failing that at least prevent South Koreans from being turned into Marionettes, especially since the inventory had been gathered in South Korea. Gang Daehyeop then pipes into their communication to state that the situation is simply too conspicuous a ploy for Yamato, before spying a woman in the crowd. Recalling that only men and boys can be turned into Marionettes, Gang Daehyeop puts on the tag of an event staff and goes down to investigate.

Sneaking into the empty sales area, Gang Daehyeop is confronted by an event staff wearing a Dream Skull, and as the staff turns berserk like the Marionettes, he draws on his experience in the tunnel to knock the staff out with a simple concussion. Gang Daehyeop then hears a commotion on the floor above that quickly subsides, and upon edging upstairs gets attacked by a series of powerful Taekwondo kicks that he barely blocks. Seeing no openings in the Flamingo Stance as he is pushed back down the staircase, Gang Daehyeop makes a move to grab his opponent’s ankle and take her down, but she instead grabs onto the stair railings to leap high and roundhouse kick him downstairs. When both of them realise their opponent isn’t the enemy, Lee Sujin leads Gang Daehyeop upstairs, where among a pile of fallen Marionettes and product boxes stands Sin Yunseong.

Just as Park Jinoh hears from Gang Daehyeop that Sin Yunseong is found, Yu Chiyeoung reports he has successfully hacked into Nine Dragon’s system, where he finds billions of email messages in various languages sent on the day Yamato received his payment of Energy Stones, that told the young male recipients they had been invited to a tryout for pre-ordering the Dream Skulls. Han Yewon then recognises some of the recipients being the sames ones Shadow had invited to their entry interview, and they realise Yamato is trying to gather male buyers worldwide with promising traits at specific spots in order to sieve out the strong and talented candidates for becoming Marionettes. Sin Yunseong subsequently shows them the product boxes that are empty except for a picture of Priest Yamato booing at them with his middle finger, before congradulating a relieved Park Jinoh on his handling of the calamities in the past week.

Getting back to the mission, Park Jinoh speculates that soon Yamato is going to start the promotional event as scheduled to create a diversion in Seoul, at which Han Yewon figures out his real objective may probably be the game show held at the BEXCO in Busan. Telling Baek Yeonwoo to keep an eye on the Seoul crowds and then deploy to Busan if nothing goes amiss, Sin Yunseong then opens a teleport door through which he, Gang Daehyeop and Lee Sujin walk straight into the Nurimaru APEC House situated in Busan.

Still wary of the amazed Lee Sujin because of her North Korean background, Sin Yunseong says going to BEXCO by car will be tough because it is peak vacation season and that Z-Star is also holding an event there. Gang Daehyeop decides to sprint through the streets, but seeing Sin Yunseong and Lee Sujin surpassing him by respectively sliding along the footpaths and hopping atop the lampposts, he leaps onto the road and starts to jump from car to car, causing a lot of dents to the dismay of their owners.

They finally reach BEXCO, where a convention consisting of many idol group performances that attracted more people than at COEX is being held, and Sin Yunseong points out Nine Dragons had used the names of other companies whose executives were threatened into obedience to book nearly all the booth spaces in the outdoors event area for selling Dream Skulls. He then takes Lee Sujin indoors to look for Yamato since the presence of too many moving objects is preventing him from stopping time, and orders Gang Daehyeop to prevent the Dream Skulls from being released through whatever means possible. Stumped at how he is supposed to do so when he only has 10 minutes left before the first booth starts releasing them, and getting no useful advice from his colleagues in Seoul, Gang Daehyeop catches sight of the bank building situated right across the street.
