Summary[]

As the King of Babel in his otherworldly dimension, Ban Sihyeon feels that ever since joining Nox his Charyeok had strengthened and evolved, so now he can create a 15-storey tower at a whim as well as generate monsters outside the Dungeon. Subsequently correcting himself that it was his defeat at the hands of Gang Daehyeop spurring this advancement as he lounges in his home surrounded by a Barrier, he orders the undine Mieka to stop singing and generates a salamander in the shape of Gang Daehyeop, only to crush both monsters from existence because of the salamander’s subservience attitude.

Going outside to greet Alphonse who is sporting burns on his face and the other Sheep, Ban Sihyeon gets smacked for his insubordinate attitude.  One of the Sheep then gets a call saying the girl is being brought to Busan, so Alphonse leads all the Sheep to rendezvous there.

Sakura Yui thinks of herself like a princess imprisoned in a tower guarded by a titanic spider that has already eaten tens of thousands of men, as she counts money at her hotel room in Busan decorated to her tastes while listening to Yamato brag about how much more efficient he is than the common Charyeok User and yakuza at making money.  When asked why she had left the pornography industry where it is easy to collect ‘vitality’, she reacts in a cold fury that scares Yamato, who recollects how 7 years ago when he had scouted a Sakura Yui driven to life’s corner to assist in research of the masks, an experiment to test the limits of her Charyeok resulted in the whole Japan branch of Nox dying horrible deaths.

Sakura Yui’s attitude softens when Yamato quickly hands her some drug capsules, before she leaves instructions for disposing of her home in Japan and depositing the money into a new bank account which unlike the previous one being used Nine Dragons has no control over. Noticing the look in Sakura Yui’s eyes being like on the day of the massacre, Yamato agrees to her request for a ship to Iceland, where she plans to live after retiring from Nine Dragons now that her role is completed. Retreating from Sakura Yui in an unsettled mood, Yamato voices his frustration of her to the awaiting Justin, before explaining to him that Hiro who is cuddled up near the doorway is a ‘Schrödinger's cat’.

Hiro envisions himself as a hero who dreamt of a tower and a spider as well as a princess whose face and body is unclear but is known to be weeping, and as she waves to the hero approaching along a narrow path surrounded by a bottomless drop, the spider that needs to be killed bars the way. Being one living at the fringes of a society he doesn’t fit into, Hiro observes it like peering through a glass window, and having no memory of his past his world now revolves around Sakura Yui. Summoned into her room, Hiro takes his clothes off as he prepares to attend to his queen.

On their way out, Yamato further elaborates that those Marionettes who are mind controlled by Sakura Yui will be trapped in a dreamlike trance where they live in a fantasy world, but Hiro who tends to mysteriously appear around Sakura Yui is the embodiment of her own fantasy. Upstairs, after getting a vicious beating from Sakura Yui for his impotence, Hiro tries to wipe her oncoming fist clean, and gets his back broken in return. Ordering him out, Sakura Yui then swallows a handful of capsules, but after accidentally breaking one of them in her mouth she vomits at the smell, before screaming in despair over her body that requires constant sustenance from ‘the vitality of men’ to live, prompting her to furiously stomp the capsules flat. Meanwhile finishing the explanation as they drive off to prepare for a busy tomorrow, Yamato gifts his Priest robes to a dumbfounded Justin.

On ‘D-Day’, Gang Daehyeop in full uniform as well as an Oracle stands atop a high-rise building overlooking Samseong-dong, and while considering treating everybody with donuts or taking Seo Yuri to the seaside after the mission, prepares himself for the deadly battle to come.
