Summary[]

After the night he spent in the Sixsung Hotel with Seo Yuri, Sin Yunseong told Gang Daehyeop while he and Seo Yuri waited for the bus back home that his mother will be awarded a fortune if he gets killed in action. Later Gang Daehyeop apologised to Seo Yuri for making her fear for his safety, but Seo Yuri instead encouraged him saying that the world needs a superhero to save it.

Like waking up from a dream, Gang Daehyeop finds himself in the middle of a road where he is about to throw a van on top of a Sin Taepung trying to free himself from an asphalt pit he got buried in. Collapsing from overuse of Charyeok, Gang Daehyeop is attacked by Sin Taepung who is still under mind control and gets smashed into a nightclub, where Sin Taepung’s gale breaks objects into sharp points to blow at him. Afterwards Sin Taepung jet launches himself at Gang Daehyeop to smash him through several empty office buildings as well as cause his Shield Suit to break, and to Gang Daehyeop’s horror he finds that they have fought all the way to an inhabited residential district, forcing him to activate his Charyeok again.

Yamato and Justin are overjoyed to see Sakura Yui back, and as Hajime Ryo calculates that they had lost 90% of their Marionettes, Sin Taepung lands closeby with a limp Gang Daehyeop in his hand before losing consciousness. Later despite Justin protesting out of fear they are too dangerous to let live, Yamato decides to keep Gang Daehyeop and Sin Taepung alive to be subjects for experimentation of transplanting Charyeok into Marionettes, similar to what Sang Mandeok had been doing. To calm Justin’s concerns, Yamato orders Hajime Ryo to cut Gang Daehyeop’s Archilles Tendon which will end his fighting career, yet before he can do so he gets stopped by a ball that erupts into teeth.

As Hajime Ryo with one leg stabbed rolls around to dodge the materialising teeth, Violet Ella Wong Perez chatises Yun Taesu for wounding Gang Daehyeop too in the initial attack. Shocked by the appearance of the two, Justin manages to shove a Yamato oblivious to their danger out of the way of materialising teeth. Yamato then orders the Marionettes to open fire, and Violet while trying to borrow Yun Taesu’s Charyeok reads that he has switched to using a similar but stronger Charyeok. When Justin notices even the Marionettes are hesitant to move out of primal fear, Yun Taesu kills them all in one eruption of teeth. Figuring that the device Sang Mandeok had left behind is responsible for the change in Charyeok, Violet discerns one of Yun Taesu’s eyes becoming like Jegal Taek.

Sakura Yui next tries to extert mind control on Yun Taesu, only to fall into a satisfied stupor when she finds that it has no effect at all due to the true love held by Yun Taesu overcoming her seduction. A soggy Vincent then shows up before shooting at Yun Taesu, and a dodging Yun Taesu who manages to close the distance faces off with Vincent as both of them point their weapons at each other. While Yamato grills Justin for information regarding Yun Taesu, they hear the police converging on their position. With Violet unyielding in her stance of keeping Gang Daehyeop and Sin Taepung safe, Yamato asks Vincent if the key agent in the now flooded Shadow headquarters had been killed, to which he gets an affirmative answer. Determining that he has met the objectives agreed to with Sang Mandeok, Yamato decides for a withdrawal, yet Yun Taesu expresses he is still craving for more kills.

Gang Daehyeop at this moment regains consciousness to chide Yun Taesu for his lunacy, and as Vincent takes the opportunity to back away, Yamato tells Gang Daehyeop how disappointed he is at him losing to both Sakura Yui and Sin Taepung. Then after Gang Daehyeop sees Violet’s maimed hand and her severed fingers held by Yun Taesu, he and the leaving Yamato promise to face each other again some day.
