Summary[]
On the day Violet Ella Wong Perez was sold into prostitution by her mother who used the money to throw a party that ended with her dying from heroin overdose, she grabbed what money and drugs were left and fled to the streets that reeked of death, where she avoided people unless needing to steal since her emerging Charyeok was still uncontrolled and made her read the ugliest of humanity. Believing that only the good and kind people end up getting hurt and killed by the evil and cruel, she was shocked to learn that even the good and kind can cause harm when the rehabilitation facility some tourists brought her to suffered bloodshed and arson due to some usually timid inhabitants having a dispute about how the donation money were allocated. After reading more people, Violet concluded that what humans do all comes down to obtaining power, and even the kind and weak are seeking for the power to cast down others at the expense of the weaker. Tracking down Sang Mandeok again, Violet joined Nox whose slogan was to bring on a new world, and years later got deployed to the place the world will begin its transformation that is South Korea, where she met Gang Daehyeop.
Earlier in the day she checked into Sixsung Hotel, Violet told the new Sheep by her side to strip because their hooded robes are too conspicuous, while she observed through binoculars the sprawled form of Gang Daehyeop from a high-rise mansion close to the country town bank building that a band of Elite Sheep in plainclothes had stormed into. She then noticed the police surrounding the bank were no ordinary crew, which spelled support from top ranks in the government. Contemplating that even during the time as a spy working within Shadow she was unable to grasp the whole picture of its organisation and reach through reading the fleeting thoughts of Sin Yunseong and other members, Violet deduced that Jeon Jaesan had been behind it all over a prolonged period.
Finding to her dismay that the new Sheep took her too seriously and had stripped to their underwear, Violet instructed them to put their uniforms back on and then cover them with other large casual clothing, before having them burn the remaining robes to ash. As she made clear their aim is to evacuate every brethren from the bank, she refused a plainclothed Ban Sihyeon’s request for him to join her into the bank, instead sending him to the team tasked with breaking through the police blockade.
Soon afterwards Eric Sin led the grateful hostages out of the bank, followed by Gang Daehyeop who had been sent sprawling with a hole bored into his jacket by a musket. As he thought back to the defeated bank robbers who were armed with an assortment of antiquated weaponry, Gang Daehyeop was about to pick up an axe when he was approached by Violet. Recalling how he got robbed and nearly blown up, Gang Daehyeop starts pressuring Violet to the wall, while she was told by some defeated Sheep that the National Treasures they wielded began activating at Gang Daehyeop’s presence. Violet began ordering the Sheep to retreat while she covered them, but Gang Daehyeop became hesitant to stop them because in addition to Sin Yunseong having ordered them not to engage Nox he also disliked fighting women.
Pissed at being belittled, Violet stole his Super Hero Mode, and as Eric who like Sin Taepung had gotten suspended for engaging Yun Taesu before the interviews spotted Ban Sihyeon walking past his car, Gang Daehyeop got thrown through the bank roof and then tossed back into the bank. While the other Sheep fled, Violet attacked more ferociously since Gang Daehyeop’s thoughts still didn’t take her seriously. His attacks getting dodged despite using his Charyeok, Gang Daehyeop figured out Violet had copied his Charyeok and told her she’ll be in trouble, just as Eric stepped out of his car to confront Ban Sihyeon.
