Summary[]
Sin Yunseong instructs Gang Daehyeop after he signs the contract to go home until there is a new assignment so that he doesn’t miss out on high school. As Gang Daehyeop leaves he is met by the Sin brothers, and Eric Sin hands him a new Path Card while reminding him everything about Shadow is classified to outsiders, so now he is responsible for keeping Seo Yuri quiet or else face a humungous fine. When he explains to Gang Daehyeop the correct meaning of the phrase “Above and Beneath the Heavens, I Alone am the Great One”, Han Yewon who was assigned to be a headquarters operator due to her personality comes along with several tickets from Sin Yunseong for the first match of the G.O.H. Tournament, clarifying to Gang Daehyeop that what was held a few days ago had been the opening ceremony to introduce the participants.
Approving the experiment results from Johnson and Esna for the new bulletproof jackets that will help circumvent the problem of two rune-inscribed artifacts in close contact causing a discordant effect, Sin Yunseong orders Park Jinoh to bring him a Shield Suit so he can ponder the new design for the company uniform, and in the end settles on the outfits following a red pattern. After having Park Jinoh send the new design to production, Sin Yunseong enchants the suit with an evolved shield.
In a crowded corridor under COEX, Fei-Long tries to provoke Na Gidong who is on his way to the first match into fighting him, but just as Na Gidong is about to lose it and risk disqualification, a Gang Daehyeop with half his face still bandaged shows up along with Seo Yuri. Seo Yuri manages to persuade Gang Daehyeop who exchanges barbs with Fei-Long to walk away, but Fei-Long irritated by days of disappointing action lunges for Seo Yuri, only to get knocked down by Sin Taepung. As the Sin brothers along with Seo Yuri ignore Fei-Long and head for the spectator seats where they will be joined by Han Yewon, Gang Daehyeop teases Fei-Long before following, and subsequently gets thanked by Na Gidong.
Meanwhile in one of the Nox hideouts on the eastern coastline, a Justin crazed by the loss of his handsome skin swears bloody vengeance on Sin Yunseong, while Violet Ella Wong Perez respectfully greets Axley.
Witnessing Na Gidong relentlessly pummel a helpless Jin Mori, Seo Yuri finds it disturbing and so leaves. The Sin brothers who find it uninteresting also depart, choosing to instead go after the targets on the list of crimes that Eric managed to get hold of, followed by a weary Han Yewon.
In the Sixsung headquarters, Jeon Jaesan is told that Park Mujin is calling, so he takes the call while bemoaning his new chief secretary being much less helpful than Sin Yunseong had been.
