Summary[]
Sin Yunseong was told on the day he became the chief executive for Shadow by the sister he loved that living for something or someone else means a lack for oneself and was suggested to live for himself, but after she got married he still had to act as the superhero who protects her from the shadows while battling a great evil.
After indirectly and directly killing for the first time so many people, Sin Yunseong cannot stop vomiting until Park Jinoh shows up saying that the president had called to express the government is unofficially acknowledging Shadow following the successful operation last night. Trying not to vomit again as he recalls that Yun Taesu was reported to be dashed by Sin Taepung against the concrete rubble into bloody chunks, he is told the call had also asked about Gang Daehyeop, and so requests Park Jinoh to change his Path number as well as be the one to filter calls made through the hotline to him. As he orders the headquarters’ security be bolstered while staggering out, Sin Yunseong then hears about Gang Daehyeop and Sin Taepung doing well in the hospital and ready to transfer back to Shadow’s facilities, thus decides to hold a champagne spraying party in order to soothe any mental trauma these youngsters may have after such a bloody battle.
Recalling what he did on the night he cleared Ban Sihyeon’s dungeon after he brought Seo Yuri back to his apartment, Gang Daehyeop wakes up in the hospital to her and Eric Sin debating whether she should do it again here to awaken him. Sin Taepung then tells him she was flown to Seoul by helicopter in case they needed a kin of him to be present for his funeral, and subsequently starts a squabble over which of them gets the glory of taking out Yun Taesu. As the others try to lighten Gang Daehyeop’s mood once he realises that he is an accomplice to Yun Taesu’s death, Seo Yuri starts a conversation about their Charyeok. All the while Han Yewon listens in from outside the door, and when being told by Esna about the party at the Shadow headquarters walks off alone.
In an abandoned church on the outskirts of Seoul, Sang Mandeok dismisses Saturn so he can debrief Violet Ella Wong Perez. Forgiving her for the deaths of the Sheep, Sang Mandeok then turns his attention onto the bloodied form of Yun Taesu, who Violet had in the confusion of battle switched with the body of a police, and gets impressed by his murderous instinct that rivals Drake McDonald. Requested to confirm that Yun Taesu is thinking of killing them both, Violet is shocked to read that furthermore he loves Jegal Taek to the point of wishing to literally eat him up or let himself be eaten by him. Noticing that Yun Taesu looks a bit like Jegal Taek, Sang Mandeok theorises he is the rare case of the body getting modified by prayer, and to the alarm of Violet gives him a baptism to heal the wounds, explaining that should something happen to Jegal Taek during the G.O.H. Tournament, then Yun Taesu’s fury will be directed at Park Mubong.
