Summary[]
Yun Taesu summons dozens of sharks and orders them to tear apart Gang Daehyeop, who dodges the jaws capable of pulverising concrete just in time. Noticing that Yun Taesu is running short of time as well, Gang Daehyeop evades the bites that are tearing holes through the building until the structure becomes unstable, tilting the floor and throwing Yun Taesu off balance. Yet when Gang Daehyeop jumps at the opportunity, he falls into Yun Taesu’s trap and gets beset by sharks.
As the building collapses, Baek Yeonwoo belays the search for survivors among the police who had been dropped by helicopter onto the roof, yet some police still jump into the dust cloud and end up getting mutilated. When the dust settles, a monstrous Yun Taesu is seen dangling the bodies of them, many still alive, like a grisly artwork, shocking the surrounding police and even the observing Justin and Violet Ella Wong Perez into a terrified stupor. As Justin panics, Violet starts to believe that Yun Taesu is the demon king she wished for who will impartially kill anyone no matter who they are.
A raging Baek Yeonwoo then leaps forward shooting at the parts of Yun Taesu not shielded by shark teeth, but despite scoring some wounds he gets speared through in the abdomen. Gang Daehyeop in Super Hero Mode subsequently bursts from the rubble, and Yun Taesu meets his charge with another swarm of sharks. Justin finally has enough and turns to flee this duel that is at minimum Priest-level, with Violet ordering a retreat now that their mission of spying on Shadow to evaluate its threat has already been accomplished.
Escaping back onto the main streets, Justin finds himself stopped by Sin Yunseong and Han Yewon. Cocky because he is wearing the only other Shield Suit, Justin tries to stab Sin Yunseong with a frost blade, only to have the blade blocked by the shield runes tattooed onto Sin Yunseong’s body. Telling Han Yewon to shut her eyes, Sin Yunseong then speaks to magic word to activate a contingency rune weaved into the Shield Suit, disintegrating Justin’s skin to leave him collapsing in agonising gore.
