Summary[]
Gang Daehyeop mulls over all the craziness his trip to Seoul had thrown at him, before telling Esna and Johnson that instead of the hospital he wants to go see Yun Taesu. Giving a still-bleeding Gang Daehyeop a pair of Smart Goggles that can translate her English speech into Korean text while donning a pair herself, Esna injects him with stabilisers as the Smart Goggles visually display the extent of his damage. She then tells him about Shadow’s main enemy Nox who has now gotten the better of them, yet Gang Daehyeop simply laughs it off saying that he is only concerned with getting back at them, and all he needs now are simply some medicine and bandages.
Sin Yunseong rests at a coffee shop close to the abandoned apartment complex, saying there is still time before the scheduled moment to start the operation, and tells a concerned Han Yewon that this is how Jeon Jaesan taught him to keep calm during difficult situations. He then receives reports that Johnson and Esna have successfully rescued Gang Daehyeop and are heading for Yun Taesu, then subsequent to ignoring all the calls from Jeon Jaesan, hears that Sin Taepung and Eric Sin had vanished from the hospital. After explaining how the body gloves like the one Han Yewon is wearing have rune protection, he asks about her extensive concern for Gang Daehyeop. Han Yewon thus reveals that she is an isolated social withdrawal who shut herself up from society eve since finding out she has Charyeok during high school, and trying to return to society after receiving Shadow’s invitation, she doesn’t want any harm on Gang Daehyeop who is the first man she acquainted herself with. Upon hearing her confession, Sin Yunseong leaves behind the Shadow employee cards for her and Gang Daehyeop as he sets off alone.
Stopped some distance from Yun Taesu’s surrounded hideout by the police, Gang Daehyeop when asked about his Shadow employee card is told by Esna that being called for this operation against Yun Taesu actually means he is already accepted as a field agent. A still unsteady Gang Daehyeop then debarks from the van and pushes through the police blockade by simply walking forward, making Esna see him as a real superhero.
As he gets grilled by his superiors for his arbitrary decision costing scores of men, Baek Yeonwoo retorts that this would not have happened if he got properly briefed about Yun Taesu being a Charyeok User. Cutting the line as the superiors swear to fire him, Baek Yeonwoo sees Gang Daehyeop approaching at the appointed time, and throws a jest asking if he is stronger than Jin Mori, which Gang Daehyeop sneers at. Meanwhile having assembled the Nox personnel close to the hideout, Violet Ella Wong Perez finds herself relieved to see Gang Daehyeop alive, and forbids Justin from taking action until Sin Yunseong arrives.
Gang Daehyeop then roars a challenge to Yun Taesu with a deafening yell, and afterwards Han Yewon shows up to pass him a phone call from Sin Yunseong. Hearing all about Yun Taesu’s Charyeok, Gang Daehyeop puts on the body glove received from Han Yewon and disappears into the apartment complex.
