Summary[]
Gang Daehyeop recalls how two nights ago Yun Taesu invited him to the abandoned apartment complex he resides in, and how much fun they had talking about their rock paper scissors match, the G.O.H. Tournament and Jegal Taek. Figuring out that he had met Yun Taesu before, Sin Yunseong tells Gang Daehyeop how even though at least 7 people were murdered, Yun Taesu kept getting released by police due to the lack of evidence. Gang Daehyeop promptly recalls that before falling into a drunken sleep that night, Yun Taesu revealed his real name and said that he will kill him the next time they meet.
Judging that Gang Daehyeop’s acquaintance with Yun Taesu will endanger this mission that is under heavy scrutiny from the government, Sin Yunseong orders Gang Daehyeop dropped from the interview, and tells an outraged Han Yewon that he cannot wait for Gang Daehyeop to get over any personal sentiments. Upon hearing that the police are simply being used as lackeys to monitor Yun Taesu’s residence, Gang Daehyeop remembers how Sin Yunseong ordered a satellite hack on the traffic lights so that he can speed, and starts questioning the purpose of Shadow.
Leaving the S International headquarters after Sin Yunseong states he has no use for the powerless, Gang Daehyeop feels pity for Yun Taesu who has to face Sin Yunseong, then uses the Shadow phone line to call Seo Yuri and tell her all about Shadow and the interview, as well as how he got dropped from the team that is about to go after the friend he made in Seoul. Seo Yuri replies saying that Sin Yunseong may be giving him a choice and how Yun Taesu was beating him in rock paper scissors, making Gang Daehyeop worry that it may actually be Sin Yunseong who is in danger.
Ordered by Sin Yunseong to don bulletproof body gloves, Justin and Han Yewon then head down to the underground car park, where a group of men are seen loading trucks. Gang Daehyeop later shows up to witness this odd scene before being noticed by Violet Ella Wong Perez, who tells him that Sin Yunseong has already left with Justin and Han Yewon. Violet then confesses she stole his luggage and discarded it after taking the money out of habit from her impoverished childhood, which Gang Daehyeop forgives her for. Reading the purity of his thoughts, Violet begs Gang Daehyeop not to go after Sin Yunseong, since mankind only brings about destruction and that the world needs a demon king to purge them. As Gang Daehyeop realises the trucks are being loaded with all the computers and documents of S International, Violet apologises to him, then huge explosions go off in the car park as well as on the car driven by Sin Yunseong.
