Summary[]
Gang Daehyeop gets into a tough fight with Sin Taepung on a rainy street, which is paused by Eric Sin as he explains that his brother is hoping to make Gang Daehyeop forget about the letter from Shadow. Refusing to back down especially now that he knows there are strong opponents waiting for him in Seoul, Gang Daehyeop continues the hot-blooded battle with Sin Taepung, who is protected by some kind of wind barrier.
Sin Taepung flashes back to when he was an orphan called Bass who slaved away at the circus of the alcoholic Hwang Ildo ever since being fished out of a bucket set afloat in the sea, and while practising his awakening Charyeok in a flying attempt out in the fields he charmed a travelling Eric. Later as he was tending to the injured short-tailed albatross Minsu that he had befriended on the beach after another day of slaving, Bass was approached by Eric, who revealed he is also an orphan and spends most of his time alone while his foster father worked.
