Dragon Sign Hwechook is a technique that gathers its power from firmly burying one's foot into the ground and sending the resulting force up to the knee, pelvis, waist and then to the tip of the foot which executes the Hwechook.

Versions[]

Renewal Taekwondo[]

It manifests itself as wind that surrounds the user's leg that is used for the technique. Depending on its execution, it can be released upwards[1] or horizontally.[2] If released upward, this technique becomes a whirlwind that surrounds the opponent.[3]

Ssam-Su Taekkyeon[]

Ssam-Su Taekkyeon have their own version of the Renewal Taekwondo Technique. It looks a lot weaker than Renewal Taekwondo version, although the only time Park Il-Pyo used it he was at his limit, after his charyeok was absorbed, and so powerless he couldn't even do True Nullifying Spin properly. This made the demonstration not adequate and sufficient enough for judging the technique's capability. [4]

Trivia[]

  • Whenever Jin Tae-Jin uses this technique, EGScans always added (Shaft Axon), despite using the exact same technique as Jin Mo-Ri.
  • In chapter 84, Mangapirate used same translation for different technique, this one and Front Hwechook.[5]
