Summary[]

Yu Mi-Ra, unsure of what to do regarding Han Dae-Wi's impending death, tells him to stay safe and that she really cares for him before resolving that she will become a monster in order to protect him.

Park Il-Pyo and Baek Seung-Chul sneak into the underground passage where they plan to enter the Sage Realm. The knock out all the followers within and a priest, The Bat, before writing the spell that will summon the gate on the ground. Uma activates the gate allowing Il-Pyo in his Direct Contract form to enter while Seung-Chul stays behind with the Fox Orb.

A flashback to many centuries ago when Jin Mo-Ri is defeated is shown. He faces Tathagata who condemns him for breaking the taboo. Mo-Ri counters this by saying the Buddha was the one who broke their promise before attacking the Buddha. A much younger King and five other High Gods stand watch as the fight commences while the King mocks Gaia. The fight is not shown but the end result can be concluded. When Mo-Ri reawakens his Monkey King powers against Jegal Taek, Yeoui was lodged into the skull of a massive being on the backside of the moon. That skull matches the appearance of the Buddha Mo-Ri is currently facing, so it can be assumed that Mo-Ri killed the Buddha. While floating in space, greatly damaged by the fight, Mo-Ri is approached by the King who tells Mo-Ri that he truly likes him. He says that he will spare Mo-Ri's life before asking if he will make a bet with him.

Hui Mo-Ri wakes up, recalling the memories of the original.

Il-Pyo tells Seung-Chul over the Fox Orb that Oraeguk is completely gone while the King approaches their location.
