- His name is probably based off the soccer player Cha Du-Ri, who got even more famous during 2011 after singing and dancing in a liver detox drug commercial for Daeyong (Big Bear) Pharmatech.
- In the English translations, the pun about him advertising was replaced by things like blaming livers or mood swings.
