Arangis was a priest of Nox who was tasked with guarding an Energy Stone buried under Seokchon Lake.
Appearance[]
Arangis appeared like a balding and diseased cripple wearing Priest robes who walked hunchbacked with a stick while his right eye was bandaged. When his blessing was utilised, his muscles swelled up and spikes sprouted from his back, while a purple-pink halo appeared around his head.
Personality[]
While initially acting fragile and humble, once battle was joined he turned arrogant and boisterous, though this turned against him when his voice gave away his position and opened him up for attacks.
Plot[]
Consolation Match[]
Arangis faced Park Mujin when the latter came underground to investigate the Energy Stone that Nox buried there. He initially used the environment to his advantage for making continuous attacks, yet was quickly countered. Arangis then utilised his God’s Blessing to pin down Park Mujin with godly strength, but then got caught in the cave-in that Park Mujin created. Later Beelzebub fully possessed his multilated body to converse with Park Mujin, before Park Mujin totally destroyed it.
Abilities[]
Arangis can use dark and dank environments to mask his sickly presence, so that he can run circles around opponents to attack them while they cannot detect his location.
God’s Blessing[]
Following the breaking of Taboo, Arangis was able to increase the powers borrowed from his patron god through the enhanced communion. In his case his blessings from Beelzebub gave him greater strength and speed as well as improved his perceptions.
