Abel was a monk whose goal was the save the world.
Appearance[]
Abel had the look of a devoted pilgrim with blond shoulder-length hair and a small goatee who wore brown monk robes.
Personality[]
Abel was filled with a sense of justice that drove him to help people whenever he could, though he also believed in sacrificing some for the greater good.
He was initially disgusted at all the injustice caused by the existence of Charyeok, thus planned to eliminate all Charyeok Users and bring on the ‘ultimate peace’ even if it meant dealing with devils. However after witnessing Shadow at work, he swung to the other extreme and wanted to make everybody in the world into Charyeok Users no matter the cost and side effects.
History[]
Having joined Nox in the past where he was known to actively seek out the Key, Abel later got branded as a renegade, though he still maintained contact with certain members such as Yamato.
He appeared 7 years ago before Yamato conducted his experiment on Sakura Yui to tell the girl about her powers as a Prayer Awakener, then rescued Yamato when Yui went berserk and transformed into a titanic spider to wreak havoc. Unable to persuade Hiro into putting Yui out of her misery, Abel ended up having to pacify Yui himself. It was at this period when he met Hajime Ryo whom he deemed a suitable candidate for becoming the sole Charyeok User in the world, thus gifted Ryo with Charyeok and the Yggdrasil.
In the 7 years since, Abel provided Ryo with intact and functioning Energy Stones that could be used in a modified version of the Dream Skull for draining the Charyeok energies of the user, while also helping with linking the Dream Skulls to the growing Yggdrasil through the Ouroboros. On the other hand, Abel also maintained dealings with the Chiyou Tribe of the Saulabi in order to gain access to their treasures.
